 | must be a born-again Christian man. (Refer to Building
Men p. 7-8)

 | must agree with and submit to their local church's &
CSB Statement of Faith.

 | must have the ability to work with others in a team
setting.
|
 | must be able to receive and give direction.
|
 | must have a burden for the salvation and growth of the
boys they work with in CSB.

 | must hold the CSB Basic Leadership Certification. New
Leaders must take this course at the beginning of their first year of
service. A Basic Leadership Training course can be set up by contacting the
Regional Director. Brigademen must complete the Basic Leadership Training
course before the start of their second year of service, if their duties
require regular attendance at the weekly meeting or outings. Noncoms are
exempt, although the Sergeant and older noncoms should be encouraged to
participate in adult leadership training.

 | must be 18 to become a leader, and at least 21 to be an
Age Division Leader or Chairman. Age restrictions do not apply to noncom
positions.
